A well deserving cause

Cancer Research UK are a organisation that without the support from fundraising events such as ours, would not be able to continue their invaluable and important work to find treatments for cancer. Their work is entirely funded by the public and has helped see the survival rates for Cancer double in the last 40 years.

Extended family Formed

What started as 3 brothers and 3 friends back in 2012,  has expanded to over 30 people taking part. In the course of taking part there have been many new friendships formed and it has become one big extended family group. The majority of the anglers that take part, have already participated in a match before or been involved in some other way.

 Everybody can be involved

There are many ways for people to get involved from fishing the match, helping with the raffles or tombolas, donating towards the cause, purchasing merchandise, you could even be an auctioneer for a day.

Any help offered is greatly appreciated & 100% of the profits raised from the match go to Cancer Research UK.
